SENIOR TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE – WESTERN CANADA

Grasslands Recruitment Specialists has been engaged to recruit a Senior Territory Sales Representative for a client who is a new entrant into the crop protection industry with a customer base that spans Western Canada.

The Senior Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales to the retail crop input/protection agriculture industry in Western Canada.

Your knowledge of the players in the retail ag sector and your development of lasting relationships and sales programs is essential to succeed in this role.

Do you have excellent communication and negotiation skills and an in-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices? Do you have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth and show sound knowledge of new technology developments in the industry?

The successful candidate would be the second employee hired in the company, so they will help shape the overall direction of the company as a senior employee.

As you grow sales in your territory, so will your duties grow and change.

Compensation would be commensurate with experience and will certainly be driven by the success you bring in selling product and positioning it for growth and building the overall sales in the company.

The Senior Territory Sales Representative can be based anywhere in Western Canada.

You are a road warrior, with a heavy travel schedule from your home office with very flexible hours. You manage and control your time, based on your client’s needs.

You are outgoing, personable, tactful and easy to approach. You are dedicated and committed, loyal to the brand and confidential in nature.

Finally, you are passionate about Agronomy and its contribution to Canada.

AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience and work history in the agricultural industry
  • Post secondary credentials in a relevant Agricultural field is preferred
  • Some sales management experience is also preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license and must have own vehicle
  • Outgoing, personable
