A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE FRANCHISE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
As a Franchise Sales Representative, you will spend your time building and strengthening relationships with growers, growing your own customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to add value, and helping customers achieve their production goals through crop input solutions and agronomic support. Working within your local market, you will develop and grow your customer portfolio while leveraging centralized support for sourcing, logistics, administration, marketing, and training. Your focus will be on growing your business, serving your customers, and creating long-term success within your agricultural community.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?
- Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agri-Business, or a related field.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with growers and industry stakeholders.
- Experience in agronomy, crop input sales, ag retail, crop protection, fertilizer, biologicals, plant nutrition, or related agricultural sectors.
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, territory management, or account growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to build and grow a business.
- Strong understanding of Western Canadian crop production systems and grower needs.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation or eligibility is considered an asset.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and passion for agriculture.
