A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE REGIONAL MANAGER
You will grow regional business through an existing customer base and business development You will create territory business plan, marketing budget, and ensure execution of the corporate sales plan with your Sales Manager. You will participate in trade shows and public relations activities.
WORK SCHEDULE
When you are not travelling throughout your territory you will work from home and attending industry and corporate events. You can work in a highly mobile outbound sales environment and willing to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonal nature of the industry. Good mix of independence and autonomy.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS REWARDING OPPORTUNITY?
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Proven success in agricultural, AgTech, or IoT-related sales, with a strong track record in performance-based environments (10+ years preferred)
- An established regional network and book of business, with the ability to leverage existing relationships and develop new ones
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence, enthusiasm, and drive to influence progressive producers
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and differentiate sales strategies in a competitive marketplace
- Technical aptitude and curiosity, with a commitment to continuously learning about products, technology, and industry trends
- Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building, negotiation, and account management skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a broader team environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs to support pipeline management and reporting
- Desire for continuous improvement
- Post-secondary education in agriculture or a related field is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
