MANAGER OF SERVICE

Grasslands Recruitment Specialists has been engaged to recruit a Manager of Service for an Ag Equipment location in Saskatchewan.

The Manager of Service will have the opportunity to manage a team environment that supports open communication.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MANAGER OF SERVICE

In this customer facing role, you will be identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve an exceptional customer experience.

The success of your team is your success—your leadership is an integral part of the service department.

As the Manager of Service you will direct and delegate effectively to the service staff, oversee all planning, administration, and general management issues.

This includes the day to-day supervision of staff and overseeing all work organized by team leaders and direct reports.

You will also maintain a high level of integrity as signing authority for items such as internal work orders and ensure bottom line profitability for your department.

AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?

  • Knowledge of technical aspects of agriculture and materials handling industries and equipment
  • Strong understanding of labor and bill out rates from service department, piece ranking reports, asset turnover and inventory control
  • Exceptional leadership and time management skills (ag sector experience preferred but not essential)
  • Licensed HD Mechanic preferred.
