Grasslands Recruitment Specialists has been engaged to recruit a Sales Agronomist who will be accountable to meet and exceed annual sales goals and profit margin objectives of products and services.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE SALES AGRONOMIST
You will develop and maintain strong business relationships with current and potential customers to drive profitable growth and provide agronomic advice, conduct soil and pest analysis, and recommend best soil fertility practices.
You will maintain customer profiles, analyze data to prioritize needs, and respond to technical inquiries and communicate effectively with staff and customers while staying knowledgeable about product offerings.
You will ensure compliance with industry regulations and promote a culture of care and safety.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?
- Post-secondary education in Agriculture; equivalent in experience may be considered
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Entry level candidates, right out of university, or Canadian Newcomers, that are willing to work in a remote rural location and prove themselves, will also be considered.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible agri-business and/or other related customer service function
- Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license
- CCA or P.Ag. accreditation, or ability to obtain
