ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is an established Saskatchewan-based equipment manufacturer, focuses on bringing distinctive solutions to the farm equipment industry.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in cost accounting, variance analysis, account reconciliations, and monthly journal entries. You will also assist with financial statement preparation, budgeting, GST/PST returns, receivables, and payables.

WORK SCHEDULE

This a full-time office position that works Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline or an equivalent
• Enrolment in CPA program would be considered an asset
• 2+ years of accounting experience in an accounting or financial management role
• Proficiency with accounting software, MRP or ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel and Outlook

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, impeccable analytical and organizational skills, be self-motivated and self-directed with a strong attention to detail. You will also possess the ability to ask critical questions, verify data, and follow instructions.
